About The Role

As a Vacuum Camber Test Technician at Rocket Lab you will be responsible for all vacuum testing of the Electron Launch Vehicle components throughout the production process.

You will use your experience to run the tests, working closely with our Manufacturing Engineers and providing feedback to ensure the ability to continually improve and fine tuning of the vehicles systems and the production process.

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent industry/trade qualification
  • Computer literate, comfortable working with windows or Linux operating system
  • Good attention to detail - accurate documentation required
  • Experience with electronics, and making electrical connections
  • Willingness to work day or evening shifts
  • Basic understanding of vacuum testing - specific training will be provided
  • A high level of attention to detail coupled with a meticulous approach to your work
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with manufacturing and engineering professionals
  • A willingness to get stuck in and get your hands dirty if needed
