About the role
The SQL DBA will work closely with EIS, IT and Operational Data teams, and be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server and RDBMS systems. Through extensive experience with a variety of SQL technologies the successful applicant will understand how to lead and implement standards and procedures in critical, high-availability environments.

Contributing to the underlying infrastructure and business solutions whilst providing SQL management of key, critical systems including ERP, Manufacturing and Engineering, this role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SQL DBA.

Essential skills

  • Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent industry certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Agile or Scrum exposure 
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
