About the role
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is a six-month contract role supporting the Rocket Lab Communications team, reporting to the Head of Communications.  As part of a small, passionate comms team the Marketing & Communications Coordinator will support the development of content (web, social media, print), assist in facilitating communications activities and events, support community outreach programs, and contribute to merchandise development.  For the right person, this role has the potential to develop into a permanent position!
  
Essential skills
  • 2+ years’ experience in product marketing/content creation
  • 6 Month fixed term contract
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to grasp complex issues
  • Natural interest in technology (ideally space!)
  • The ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and quickly in an unsupervised environment
  • Discretion and ability to grasp stringent security requirements and commercial sensitivities
