Logistics Coordinator
This position will provide permanent and transient staff, contractors and clients with agile, resilient and timely, world-class logistic support. This position will be responsible for developing logistics support for Integration Control Facility (ICF) and Launch Complex (LC-2) at Wallops Island Virginia.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting launch pad and/or retail facility logistics including but not limited to; security badging, supply & storage, fleet (vehicle), and waste management.

Establish and Maintain Storage Management

  • Tooling
  • Radios
Resupply
  • Water
  • Fuels
  • Lubricants
  • Gases
Facility Support
Integration and Control Facility
  • Maintenance
  • Repairs
Fleet Management
Vehicle Management (lease/rental/owned)
  • Registration/Monitoring and update
  • Damage/repair/maintenance management
Waste Management
Salvage
  • Domestic Waste disposal
  • Unserviceable Equipment disposal
  • HAZSUB collection and removal
Health & Safety
  • Ensure health and safety policies and standard operating procedures are followed
  • Correct PPE is worn in designated areas
  • Near misses and incidents are reported promptly
Other
  • Additional duties as reasonably required
 
Required Experience / Skills
  • 5 years previous experience within a stores/logistic discipline, or current relevant company experience
  • Organized, proactive, self-starter, and team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence behaviour
  • Internal and external customer focus
  • Self-starter, enthusiastic, proactive, open to learning and values contributing to the wider team
  • Methodical work ethic with an excellent eye for detail
  • The ability to keep calm and perform under pressure
