About the role
The role of the Logistics and Inventory Assistant is to; provide accurate and responsive, world-class logistic support to Rocket Lab staff, clients and contractors. Managing the logistics for operating at or transferring stores and equipment to and from LC1, and to coordinate stock management across all LC1 stores locations. Your role will assist in guaranteeing stock availability to meet the demands of the Propulsion Assembly, Test production, R&D programs and project delivery timelines. 
Essential skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence others behaviour
  • A proactive and can-do attitude with the ability to keep calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work non-routine shifts in support of test operations
  • Ability to work in a team and to build effective working relationships with external and internal customers
  • Ability to establish and maintain sound relationships with local suppliers
  • Morale courage
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Two years + experience with stores, logistics or equivalent discipline
  • Exposure to Inventory Management systems
Desirable skills
  • Experience in cycle counting
  • ERP experience
