About The Role

Launch your career with one of the most exciting summer internship opportunities in New Zealand!

Following the success of our first two rockets ("It's a Test" and "Still Testing") we are looking for stand-out talent to join our hardworking team over the summer. Our software team is looking for a Javascript Developer Intern to assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software.

  • Plan test cases to validate that software meets requirements
  • Document features of new and existing software and infrastructure
  • Diagnose and repair issues in software
  • Actively participate in scoping, sizing and planning sessions as part of the development team
This internship programme will certainly have its perks, as you learn from the best in the aerospace industry, watch live test fires, have unlimited access to our snack and fruit baskets, attend our staff Christmas party, and (fingers crossed) view a launch alongside the dedicated people that made it happen.

  • Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
Include the following with your application:
  • Your CV
  • A copy of your unofficial transcript
  • A cover letter including an example of an engineering project you have completed in your spare time and describe the value this added.
