About the role
As a growing company with ambitious projects we know that our IT Support Infrastructure is crucial to our continued success. We have constant projects involving network upgrades and maintenance, and continuous improvement projects that are key to providing a reliable and secure IT infrastructure for our offices all around New Zealand and the world.
As an IT Support Engineer in the IT & Infrastructure Support Team at Rocket Lab, you will be responsible for instruction, guidance, and technical support to the different teams at Rocket Lab to deliver and support IT systems through efficient management of the IT Service Desk queue via on-site desktop support, phone, IM, and email.
- Bachelors or higher in Computer Science or a similar Engineering discipline
- 2 years minimum in IT Infrastructure Support, preferably working within a structured environment with
- Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux Enterprise OS issues
- Experience with Jira, OpenDesk, ServiceNow, or a similar issue-tracker
- Knowledge of a Service Delivery framework such as ITIL
- Some experience of Desktop Support policies
- Experience supporting multi-region teams
