About the role
A HITL Engineering intern is responsible, alongside the GNC Manager and HITL Engineers, for the operation, maintenance, upgrade and test of the Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) system for the Electron Launch Vehicle and Photon Satellite System. This position will be fixed term for 4-6 months.
Essential skills
  • A relevant Bachelor or Masters in Electronics or Mechatronics, can be a final year student.
  • A good theoretical and/or practical understanding of electronic systems
  • Exposure to designing and implementing test systems for electronics
  • An understanding of sensors, signal conditioning, and data acquisition electronics
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
Desirable skills

  • Previous HIL/PIL experience
  • Networking
  • Experience working in a continuous integration environment
  • Experience with Git version control
