About The Role

Launch your career with one of the most exciting summer internship opportunities in New Zealand! Following the success of our first rocket ("It's a Test") we are looking for exceptional talent to join our hardworking team over the summer.

Our IT Team requires a systems support intern to provide onsite support, training and assistance to our staff. You will be responsible for the setup of new workstations and associated hardware. You will assist staff daily with a variety of issues - exposing you to various systems and services.

Key duties will include
  • Installation and setup of new computer and IT hardware
  • Strong understanding and experience in a Windows environment
  • Assist in the development of systems and networks
  • Manage user issues and report on any new requirements
  • Ensure security requirements are met and maintained
  • Creation and maintenance of internal user documentation
  • Assist with PO process and asset tracking
Internship requirements:
  • Recently graduated or studying towards a Bachelor degree or higher specialising in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience with Linux OS
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, creative and open to learning
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships

Internship dates: Monday 20 November 2017 - Friday 23 February 2018 (may vary depending on your course requirements).
